Abstract patterns - Objects, which are not portrayed in a realistic-concrete way, but are reduced to their most important characteristics. Diagonals, circles and stripes are the classic patterns for fabric printings.

Art Deco - A style of decorative art typical of the 1920s and 1930s. The name was derived from the 1925 International Exhibition in Paris that showed "des Arts Decoratifs.
